He aims to work collaboratively with his patients in order to achieve their health goals. In particular he has an interest in working with children, young families and mental health concerns. James recognises that children may find coming to the doctor challenging or even scary, and aims to create a positive and fun experience by using humour and taking the time to learn about and understand your child.
James studied medicine at the University of Melbourne and completed his internship and residency at Ballarat Health Services, before completing his GP training, attaining fellowship in 2019. He worked in general practice in Balwyn before moving to Geelong during 2022 with his wife and their aptly named labrador, Buster.
Outside of work, James enjoys spending time with family, having a hit of tennis and exploring the Geelong region.
